Today, Wednesday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Al-Abadi, received several international journalists and representatives of international and Arab media offices in Iraq in a step aimed at shedding light on the current reality and the efforts made to overcome the challenges and open channels of communication between Iraq and the global community.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Abadi discussed a number of critical issues facing Iraq and the region, noting that Iraq has overcome many problems of division and terrorism, but it still faces complex challenges.
He stressed the importance of addressing the outstanding issues, the need to review and amend some paragraphs in the Iraqi constitution, and the need to improve the wording of some of its texts.
Al-Abadi warned against heavy reliance on oil as a primary source of the economy, stressing the need to search for alternatives by strengthening other sectors and supporting the private sector.
He touched on the issue of illegal weapons and the need to develop effective plans for state control. He described Iraq's stability as the basic foundation for the stability of the entire region, calling for a common vision to achieve this goal.
Journalists and representatives of various media outlets raised several significant issues affecting Iraq and the region and directed questions to obtain clarifications that contribute to providing more accurate and in-depth reports to the public.
