The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received the new French Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Patrick Durel.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi congratulated Mr. Durel on assuming his duties, hoping that he would contribute to strengthening cooperation between Baghdad and Paris in various fields.

The overall situation in Iraq and the region, issues of common concern, and the importance of international support for the government to move forward with reforms that serve citizens were emphasized.
