Today, Thursday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received in his office the Independent Strategic Review Team of the United Nations, which consists of Mr. Volker Birch and Mr. Shohrat Suleymanov.

During the meeting, the work of the team and the support Iraq requires during the next stage in many sectors, and setting work priorities in line with the magnitude of the many challenges that the country is going through, were all discussed.

Dr. Al-Abadi pointed out the importance of reconsidering the title of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq because the situation changed after 2003, and Iraq needs a new situation that is consistent with the stability that the country is witnessing.
