The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received in his office the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Ali Reza Konay, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the situation in Iraq and the region, strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and common issues in the files of water, security, roads, trade, and others, were all discussed.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed that the current government is undertaking many reforms in various sectors, and there are many challenges it faces, but it is important to support it in its reform approach to serve citizens.

An invitation was extended to Dr. Al-Abadi to visit Turkey the next days.
