The Chairman of the Leadership Council of the National State Forces Alliance, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, confirmed, during the expanded meeting of the National State Forces Alliance candidates for the provincial councils, which was held today, Saturday, in Baghdad, that the strength of the state comes from the strength of its people, and the required success can only be achieved by good and just work.

Dr. Al-Abadi pointed out that the provincial councils are important pivot in democratic administration that relies on distributing tasks among local institutions, but our experience in Iraq has suffered from many problems, and it is our responsibility today to create a successful administrative system whose primary mission is to serve citizens and work to meet their needs fairly.

Meanwhile, the head of the National State Forces Alliance, His Eminence Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of adopting the basic mission upon which the councils are based, which is providing services, while keeping them away from political controversy.

Al-Hakim warned against making unrealistic and difficult-to-achieve promises. He also stressed the necessity of continuous communication with citizens before and after winning, calling for openness to new generations and addressing them according to their orientations and priorities.
