Today, Wednesday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, hosted a group of political analysts in his office, and discussed with them a number of files related to the country and proposed solutions to them.

This step comes as part of Dr. Al-Abadi’s constant endeavor to enhance understanding and dialogue and bring viewpoints of all closer.

During the meeting, several topics were discussed, most notably the economic file, where the importance of diversifying the national economy and eliminating complete dependence on oil revenues was emphasized, in addition to reviewing the opportunities available for investing in clean energy and the tourism sector, and exploring sustainable economic alternatives.

The importance of strengthening the government’s role by filling its functions with expertise and specialists in multiple fields was also discussed, in order for this to be reflected in achieving development and revitalizing the local market.

The major challenge posed by the water crisis today was addressed, by reviewing the problem of water scarcity and the need to address it seriously, in order to maintain the total and partial security of Iraq.

Emphasis was also placed on the importance of correcting deficiencies within the political system in a way that allows for overcoming the problems that hinder the implementation of government reforms, and the challenges facing the decision-making process. In addition to examining topics that provide a more transparent and just political system.

During the meeting, the importance of promoting sustainable dialogue between all political parties was raised, which contributes to supporting stability and avoiding escalation, to achieve a better future for Iraq and its people. In addition to discussing the issue of misdistribution of wealth among citizens and its impact on societal stability.

The meeting was distinguished by the active participation of attendees through their interventions on the issues raised, as they stressed the importance of relying on independent expertise, academics and specialists.

They also appreciated the role of Dr. Al-Abadi in overcoming many of the serious problems that surrounded Iraq during his rule, when he led the country in an exceptional period, including security threats, economic crises, political problems, and foreign relations. All of this enhances Al-Abadi’s position as an exceptional figure in the national political scene.
