The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office today, Monday, the Japanese Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Futoshi Matsumoto.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Baghdad and Tokyo in various fields, developments in the situation in Iraq, and the steps of the Iraqi government by encouraging investment and the entry of international companies into Iraq.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed the importance of Iraqi-Japanese cooperation, which contributes to increasing investments for Japanese companies in many sectors needed by the country, especially since Japanese companies enjoy a good reputation among Iraqis.
