Dr. Haider al-Abadi, head of Al Nasr Coalition, received in his office today, Tuesday, the former Minister of Reconstruction and the leader in the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mr. Bankin Rekani.

The overall political, security, and economic situation in Iraq and the challenges it is going through that require uniting efforts to overcome them and provide everything that would serve the citizens, were all discussed.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed that the country is on the verge of fateful elections that must be held in a correct atmosphere and should express the will of the voter without manipulation in the results.

He pointed out that the Iraqi people, who were able to overcome previous ordeals of terrorism, sectarianism, and the financial crisis after 2014, deserve to make efforts for them to provide a decent life.

Al-Abadi praised the cooperation that was between our Security Forces and the Peshmerga to liberate the land and achieve the great victory against ISIS.
