Al Nasr Coalition: We condemn the assassination of Soleimani and Al Muhandis

We strongly condemn the brutal aggression and grave violation of national sovereignty that targeted a few brave leaders and fighters who were combating ISIS.
We have warned America previously about the dangerous repercussions of Al-Qa’im process and others and what was unexpected consequences for security, stability and bilateral relations.
The Coalition renews its warning against dragging Iraq and the region into the furnace of strife and wars, or introducing them into the tunnel of societal, political and security collapses that will cause woes on peoples, reiterating the recommendation of the supreme religious authority “restraint and behave wisely” to spare Iraq and its people from the evil of the wicked.

Al Nasr: We reject Trump's "deal of the century" for peace in the Middle East

Al Nasr Coalition affirms its rejection for the “Deal of the Century” put forward by US President Donald Trump for peace in the Middle East, blaming the parties that have adopted it all the consequences that will result from it.
Al Nasr sees that injustice, bullying, and the imposition policy will not produce security and peace and will not achieve coexistence and prosperity for the peoples and countries of the region.

We call on all peace-loving countries of the world, United Nations institutions, regional and international organizations, particularly the League of Arab States, to reject this deal and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Al Nasr stresses that this deal will further disturb the peoples and countries of the region ravaged by crises of tyranny and the absence of social justice, who live under the weight of sectarian strife, black terror attacks and the struggle of geopolitical fronts, and that the deal of the century will not be a solution but a new impasse that the region will suffer its repercussions.

Abadi offers his vision for the solution: "An independent government involving activists, and joint supervision committees"

We call on all parties for solidarity solutions that can take the country out of the crisis, and the need to show wisdom and the spirit of compromise away from narrow interests, high ceilings, and the risk of adventures.
To overcome the crisis of confidence and the power blank, based on our national responsibilities, we offer the following initiative:
1-The President of the Republic assigns a qualified, independent, competent, and strong personality for the post of prime minister within 15 days.
2-Forming a mini government to manage the transitional period, provided that it does not exceed one year after taking responsibility.
3-The primary tasks of the government are to conduct early and fair elections in partnership with UNAMI and no later than 12/31/2020, to control security, to confine arms to the state, to bring the perpetrators of the demonstrators and security forces to justice, and to neutralize the national decision.
4-Committing the designated Prime Minister to form a government away from the hateful party quotas while maintaining representation of national societal diversity.
5-Involving professional competencies and government activists, and appointing an advisor to the Prime Minister for mass demands, to ensure the public involvement in managing the transitional period.
6-Forming special (tripartite) committees from the government, the UNAMI, and the demonstrators, to oversee the following tasks: conducting elections, investigative committees for killing protesters and security forces, and re-establishing security in Iraqi governorates.

Al Nasr Coalition: We Ring the Danger Bells of a Coming Financial Deficit That Paralyzes the State

Al Nasr Coalition warns of a financial deficit that paralyzes the country's obligations, and exposes the country to a societal security collapse due to the miserable economic and financial policy that led to the financial and economic deficit.
The failure of the financial and economic policies of the current government, and the policy of corrupt wasteful spending helped us to enter the financial and economic danger zone, because the budget deficit exceeds 50 trillion dinars, and it is increasing, despite the huge financial balance inherited and lost by the current government. The current and expected decline in oil prices will put the state in the deficit to pay salaries and operational budget benefits by the end of this year.
The big decline in global financial markets, the continuous decline in oil prices, the impact of epidemics and hotbeds of global tension, have led to a serious decline in the movement of the international economy, and the features of the economic recession today seem closer than ever, and Iraq is more likely than others to receive these economic shocks because of the irrational policy for the current government that reaches the level of trust betrayal.
Al Nasr coalition believes that the absence of financial and economic vision, the persistence of quotas corruption, the weak control of the state authorities over its institutions, its failure to effectively manage the government, and the plundering of state resources by the centers of power, are all factors that will lead the country to an economic catastrophe we warn against falling into. We accuse the government and the political forces that produced it, which are now hindering the mandate of an independent and effective government. We blame it the fully national and historical responsibility of what will happen to the Iraqi state.

Al Nasr Coalition: We are not part of a bloc that is on a sectarian or ethnic basis

Al Nasr Coalition reaffirms what it has repeatedly announced, that it is against any sectarian political alliances, and that the dilemma of the political system is represented by the sectarian ethnic quotas blocs that created the system of components over the citizenship system.
Al Nasr Coalition indicates that it is not a part of any bloc on sectarian or ethnic basis, and that Al Nasr is a national entity, and that its policies, meetings, took place and are taking place with all political blocs, national elites, and community activists in order to find appropriate solutions to the current national crisis.

Al Nasr Coalition: The last thing Iraq needs is to be an arena for reckoning
Al Nasr Coalition condemns any attacks or actions that endanger the lives of citizens and lead to a violation of national sovereignty, the last thing Iraq needs is to be an arena for reckoning. We have enough crises because of the government’s failure to manage the state and the multiplicity of decision centers in dealing with higher interests.
Al Nasr Coalition affirms that the sanctity of blood, interests, and Iraqi sovereignty depend on the wise and balanced management of the Iraqi decision-making centers. Today, it is required to show solidarity to raise the state’s affairs and find a quick solution to the dilemma of forming a national government capable to manage strictly, including ending violating our sovereignty and interfering in our national affairs.
Stability, deterrence, and sovereignty can only be guaranteed by the state, with an effective national government and coherent with its public.

Al Nasr Coalition: We Hope For a Transitional Phase to Achieve Reform

Al Nasr Coalition confirms that the assignment of Mr. Adnan Al-Zarfi’s to the Prime Minister came according to the specifications set by the blocs, and because of the moderation of the political approach he belongs to and follows, despite the severe mass struggles.
Al Nasr Coalition stresses that the tasks of the transitional period are the basis for the mandate success, the most important of which is achieving fair elections and ensuring a successful and strong management of the state away from corruption, the interests of quotas, and the chaos of contexts.
Al Nasr Coalition believes that the reform which people are demanding depends on a fair, effective, and cohesive government with the public and the benevolent forces, as happened during the 2014-2018, in which the government, people, and benevolent forces were able to achieve victory in the battles of liberation, unification of the country, sovereignty, and addressing the financial crisis. We hope for a serious national solidarity to achieve the goals of a successful transitional phase and a foundation for a better tomorrow for our people and country.

Al Nasr Coalition: The Option to "Print Currency" Is Destructive To the Economy and Parliament Must Sue the Government

The member of Al Nasr Coalition Ali Al-Sneed confirmed that the options revealed by the head of the Follow-up Cell in the Prime Minister’s Office, on Friday, are catastrophic options for the financial, economic, and social security of the state, calling on Parliament to judge the current government for its reckless spending policies and the abuse of power in managing public interests.
Al-Sneed pointed out that this government inherited a cash surplus from Abadi's government, which led the wars of liberation and unity with the lowest financial budgets, yet it managed with rational governance of wealth to hand $ 14 billion to the government of Abdul-Mahdi, in addition to the 2019 budget, but it was wasted, and today we are on the threshold of a suffocating financial crisis due to the deterioration of oil prices.
Al-Sneed added: "What the head of the Follow-up Cell mentioned is dangerous and puts the government in front of legal and political accountability. His saying (that the state condition will be affected starting from the next month, including the salaries of employees, which may prompt Iraq to print the currency as a last option) threatens the entire condition of the state, it should not be covered politically by the beneficiaries over the homeland and the citizen", noting that Al Nasr Coalition has always warned against policies of waste, corruption, and theft of wealth, the last of which was the warning on March 10, calling for a rapid recovery for the crisis and developing a valid and decisive solutions to ensure the financial and economic security of the state.
