Today, Wednesday, Al Nasr Coalition office in Nineveh Governorate organized a blood donation campaign to share with our Christian brothers their suffering and grief after the painful incident in Al-Hamdaniya.

The fire caused the death of 94 people and the injury of 150 others, after reviewing the numbers in hospitals, ranging from simple and moderate cases to advanced cases, as a result of which the victims were transferred to the burns department in Mosul Hospital, while others were transferred to the Kurdistan region due to the lack of sufficient hospitals in Mosul to receive the injured.

The Director of Al Nasr Coalition Office in Nineveh Governorate, Mr. Ammar Al-Jubouri, and a delegation from the office visited Al-Hamdaniya District, Al-Hamdaniya General Hospital, and the Mosul Specialized Center for Burns and Plastic Surgery at Al-Jumhuri Hospital, and conducted a tour of some cases, in addition to providing the necessary assistance, which included materials designated for treating burns.

The delegation then visited Mar Behnam Church to offer condolences to our Christian brothers and convey Dr. Al-Abadi’s greetings to them, followed by heading to the blood bank and carrying out a large blood donation campaign.
