Dr. Al-Abadi stresses the importance of the Iraqi national decision, rejecting external pressures, and warns against the militarization of society and work to remove the mafias of economy

Dr. Haider al-Abadi stressed the importance of the Iraqi national decision and rejecting the dictates, pressures and foreign interference, stressing that we are with balanced and good relations with countries, away from interference in the Iraqi issue.

This came during a meeting between him and a group of media professionals and analysts at the Iraqi Center for Media Development, where Dr. Al-Abadi pointed out the seriousness of these interventions that have reached a direction that cannot be tolerated.

He pointed out that there is a second challenge, represented by the militarization of society. Citizens do not feel safe in the presence of irregular forces, as well as weapons in the hands of individuals who are not from the security forces, and this requires the presence of clear leadership.

Dr. Al-Abadi stated that the third challenge is the economic file, which needs continued economic reform and the removal of corruption mafias and economy mafias.

He indicated that the stability of security in the country must not be retreat, and the defect in the security aspect cannot be easily fixed.

Dr. Al-Abadi expressed his hope for the success of the government, and he will be supportive of it, and at the same time Al Nasr will go to rectify it for the sake of the country and its citizens.

The attendees praised the achievements made during the era of Dr. Al-Abadi's government, represented by the victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS, the unification of the country, the end of sectarianism, the success in the file of foreign relations, the reform program, security stability and other achievements, and the current government must preserve these achievements and not neglect them and present a new achievement to the citizen.

Al-Abadi: The way the US president visited Iraq does not fit the diplomatic norms and relations with sovereign countries

Dr. Haider al-Abadi, head of Al Nasr Coalition, rejected the method of the US President’s visit to Iraq, which he described as not commensurate with the diplomatic norms and relations with sovereign countries.

The achievements and victories achieved by Iraq, its people and its heroes from fighters will remain a great milestone that dazzled the whole world, and through them Iraq imposed its position in the region and the world, and it is not permissible to go backwards.

We point out that dealing with Iraq and its sovereignty in this way will harm the Iraqi-American relations, and the countries of the region and the world must realize that a strong and dear Iraq is in the interest of security and stability in the region and the world, and that the interest requires supporting Iraq to strengthen its unity, security, prosperity and sovereignty.
