The leader of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office, today, Wednesday, the Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mrs. Jeanine Plasschaert.

The meeting included discussing preparations for the early elections, creating the appropriate atmosphere for it, completing its requirements, and the role of the United Nations to observe it.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed the importance of resolving the legislation related to the election law and the federal court, and that the government must complete all the requirements for conducting it in a manner that guarantees its integrity and transparency. Additionally, the election commission must complete its preparations so that the voter's voice will be a real passage without any manipulation.

They also discussed developments in the security, political, and economic situation to overcome the challenges and crises the country is going through.
