The leader of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received in his office, today, Saturday, the President of Iraq, Dr. Barham Salih.

During the meeting, they discussed the developments in the political, security, and economic situation of the country, the many challenges it is going through, and ways to overcome them, in addition to preserving the security gains that took place after the victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS, the security stability and the need to continue the efforts to rebuild cities.

The meeting also addressed the early elections, creating the appropriate conditions to conduct it, emphasizing the completion of all necessary procedures and legislation, where the government’s announcement of the date for holding the elections and the importance of providing all requirements for its success were renewed.

Government procedures regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, the role of doctors from the White Army in treating the injured, in addition to the importance of citizens' adherence to the instructions of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety was also discussed.

Dr. Al-Abadi also discussed with Dr. Barham Salih meeting the true demands of citizens and working to provide services and reform in state institutions to ensure good governance in the country.
