Today, Wednesday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received a delegation that included representatives of the Palestinian community as part of his weekly meetings series with community elites.

The Palestinian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, Counselor Firas Barakat, and artist Muhammad Hussein Abdel Rahim headed the delegation.

The meeting began by reading Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of the Palestinian martyrs.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Abadi spoke about supporting the Palestinian cause and its human, Islamic, and Arab rights. Describing it as a matter of honor that should not be given up, no matter what changes.

He added: "We see the exceptional sacrifices and giving of the Palestinians, and we seek steadfastness, self-esteem, and great trustworthiness. There is no solution except the establishment of a Palestinian state, as this issue carries great pressure on the Middle East and the entire world, security, economically, and politically."

Explaining that some of the international support that the Zionist entity receives reveals its fragility and its suffering from internal disintegration, conflicting convictions, and loss of identity.

Dr. Al-Abadi warned of the danger of any escalation or large-scale war planned by the Zionist entity. Calling on everyone to unify efforts and policies to support the Palestinians in a planned manner.

Al-Abadi also discussed with the Palestinian Ambassador, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, and the attendees what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank and the reality of the Palestinian community in Iraq, recalling the precise contribution of the Palestinians to Iraqi society and culture.

The Palestinian Ambassador thanked Dr. Al-Abadi for his continued support for the Palestinian people and their issues and presented the challenges that stand in the way of his people's right to a state and to live. He touched on multiple topics, including the current political situation in Palestine.

Artist Muhammad Hussein Abdel Rahim, Chairman of the Popular Committee, described his birth in Iraq as a great honor and presented the obstacles facing the Palestinian community in Iraq, especially the legal aspect.
