Today, Thursday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received a prominent delegation from Basra Governorate.

The delegation included tribal sheiks, notables, prominent academics, and other figures who reflect this ancient province's cultural and social diversity.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Abadi welcomed the members of the delegation and stressed the importance of Basra as a vital governorate in the country. Then, the general conditions in the governorate and the most prominent challenges it faces, including social and economic issues, were discussed.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed the importance of supporting the governorate and finding the necessary solutions that reduce its problems and serve the interests of its citizens.

The delegation members appreciated Dr. Al-Abadi's efforts and recalled his wise leadership as Prime Minister, especially in managing the country during crises that included war and economic challenges.

This meeting is a step towards enhancing dialogue and highlighting the importance of Basra as a significant center in Iraq and its pivotal role in the country's economic and social future.
