Yesterday, Tuesday, the head of the Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received in his office the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Ali Redha Guney, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and the events taking place in the region that require serious action to stop what is being committed against citizens in the Gaza Strip.

The files between Baghdad and Ankara, the importance of resolving the existing problems, and holding more dialogues and talks to reach common understandings, were also reviewed.

Guney praised the wisdom of Dr. Haider Al-Abadi in leading Iraq during the war and turning the impossible into a story of victory over terrorism that threatened the security of the region and the world.
