Today, Saturday, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received in his office the French Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Eric Chevallier, at the end of his duties in Iraq.

The meeting discussed the development of bilateral relations, the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, and the situation in Iraq and the region.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed the importance of making more efforts to enhance understanding between Iraq and the countries of the world and that this will reflect positively on Iraq’s political, security, and economic situation, indicating that the intertwining of interests with countries will strengthen these relations and put them on the right path.

In turn, the French Ambassador appreciated Dr. Al-Abadi’s position in strengthening relations between Iraq and France and his central role in achieving victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS during his tenure as head of the Iraqi government.
