The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office yesterday, Monday, separately, the British Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Mark Bryson-Richardson, and the Canadian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Gregory Galligan.

The meeting with the British Ambassador witnessed a review of the overall situation in the country, strengthening the bilateral cooperation in various sectors, the progress of the government's work in the field of reform and the fight against corruption, and the importance of the international community's support for Iraq in many files.

While Dr. Al-Abadi discussed with the Canadian Ambassador the latest political and economic developments, the situation in the region, and what Iraq needs to advance and reach a state of institutions.

The importance of Iraq's pivotal role in the region and the world, and the international community's keenness on Iraq's stability and progress, and its readiness to provide all levels of support to it to consolidate democracy and open horizons for reconstruction, investment and construction, were all emphasized.
