The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received in his office the head of Al Hikma Movement, His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Abadi and His Eminence Mr. Al-Hakim exchanged congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing that it would return to the Iraqi people with goodness and blessings and fulfill the aspirations of the citizens.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of issues related to the financial budget, the election law, efforts to combat corruption, the functioning of the government, reforms in state institutions, citizens' demands and ways to achieve them.

The importance of joint action between the executive and legislative authorities was also emphasized to face the many challenges facing the country and to approve legislation that serves the government's work to implement its ministerial platform.
