The Head of the National State Forces Alliance and the leader of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office today, Sunday, the Australian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mrs. Paula Elizabeth Kanley.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of the overall situation in the country, strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as the international monitoring of the parliamentary elections on October 10, 2021.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed that Iraq, which made sacrifices in its existential war against the terrorist gangs of ISIS and achieved victory, must have greater international support for its reconstruction, noting that early elections can contribute to the stability of the country and the formation of a government that meets the aspirations of citizens.
