The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, met the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the political, security, and economic situation in the country, the most important challenges and how to cooperate in order to solve them.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of preserving the security and safety of citizens, protecting the right to peaceful protest, maintaining public security, and supporting the security services to protect peace and community security.

The file of the upcoming elections and its importance, and the ongoing preparations to organize it, were also discussed.

The necessity of achieving standards of integrity and transparency, preventing fraud and manipulation, restoring voters’ confidence in the electoral process, and ensuring broad participation in it, were all discussed.

The meeting also discussed the economic situation in the country, the efforts and measures it requires to support the national economy, combat corruption, diversify state resources, and approve the financial budget to ensure the rights of all Iraqis.
