The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Ali Reza Konay.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey, discussed the water file, consolidating the economic and trade ties, and enhancing cooperation in other fields, in a way that benefits the two countries and achieves common interests.

Dr. Al-Abadi said, "We believe that Iraq's close cooperation with regional and global countries on the basis of mutual interests is something that promotes development and prosperity".

While the Turkish Ambassador affirmed his country's interest in strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation in priority areas, praising Iraq's efforts to build a strong and stable country.
