Al Nasr Coalition held, in Baghdad, a celebration on the fifth anniversary of its founding, with the presence of the leaders and members of the Coalition from all governorates, as well as a number of ministers, representatives of political entities and the media.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Abadi referred to the great challenges and difficulties that his government faced economically and security, and in various fields and sectors, and how they were overcome and turned into a success story praised by the world.

Indicating that the victory over the terrorist gangs of ISIS was achieved through the sacrifices of the people of Iraq and in difficult circumstances, and that the accurate security plans and intelligence efforts contributed greatly to achieving what was described as impossible. And that the absence of justice, corruption and other factors previously worked to prepare the incubators of terrorism inside Iraq, and this mistake must not be repeated.

The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, also thanked our national football team for winning the 25th Gulf Championship, and the people of Basra for their hospitality and generosity, which he described as Husseini generosity. He pointed out that the unstable security situation prevented the championship from being held years ago, but today Iraq was able to embrace sports again after achieving security stability and victory over terrorism.

Dr. Al-Abadi touched on the economic situation that the country suffers from, the high cost of living, the high prices, the suffering of citizens in obtaining daily life services, and the spread of unemployment, warning against slipping into more difficult crises that would lead us to economic collapse. While urging politicians to take responsibility very seriously to spare the country any potential disaster as a result of fiscal policy and economic management; as there is an opportunity to avoid the worst, stressing his full support for the current government to advance the service reality.

Regarding the establishment of the Coalition and its goals, Dr. Al-Abadi said: "Our project is to win the state from the mouth of weakness in order to restore its status and existence, and we will continue to work with pure patriotism, high responsibility, free will, and qualitative solidarity. Just as we were able to overcome terrorism, economic crisis, division, and disasters of collapse, we can re-achieve these achievements and more, we just need to run the country according to a correct and sound vision".

The leader of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Omar Al-Hajj, had a speech in which he reviewed the activities of the Coalition's offices, including political, humanitarian, educational and youth efforts, and carrying out volunteer work in all governorates of Iraq.

The celebration concluded with the performance of Al Nasr song by the artist, Muhammad Zaki, on behalf of the people of Mosul, with participation of the Turkmen component, in fulfillment of Al-Abadi's role in leading the war and achieving the historic victory over ISIS.
