Dr. Haider al-Abadi, the head of Al Nasr Coalition, received in his office, on Tuesday, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Middle Eastern Affairs, Ms. Barbara Leaf and her accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed strengthening relations between the two countries, the developments in the political events in Iraq, the international community's interest in its stability, given its great importance in the region, and the importance of dialogue to solve all problems and bring points of view closer.

The need for all political parties to contribute to finding a solution to the repercussions of the obstruction witnessed by the political process, which has begun to have repercussions on all sectors and citizens, and not to resort to violence that kills the people of this country, as well as to work seriously to correct the situation and failures in a way that guarantees the return of Iraq to its right path, was all stressed.
