Dr. Haider al-Abadi visited the religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi, in the holy province of Karbala.

During the meeting, they discussed the political situation and ways to get out to a welcoming national space based on community service.

It was also alerted to the importance of looking at the public interest and raising individuals -especially young people- to think about life and interests on the basis of participation and consultation in making practical and life decisions.

Al-Modarresi also expressed his pride in Dr. Haider Al-Abadi. In the context of His Eminence's vision of changing reality, he said: "People's problems must be solved through specialized planning according to solid scientific studies, through the assistance of academics and specialists:"
