Dr. Haider Al-Abadi had a phone call with Mr. Masoud Barzani about the current situation and the political impasse. The absolute rejection of the assault on Erbil was emphasized; as the sovereignty of Iraq is one and indivisible, and Iraqis are committed to good neighborliness and not to allow the use of their lands to attack neighboring countries, as approved by the Iraqi constitution.

Erbil's steadfastness and participation with all Iraqis in blood and sacrifices in the face of the criminal terrorist attack of ISIS was also recalled.

Politically, ways of cooperation and efforts to address the political blockage that does not serve people's interests and harm economic development were discussed, and the principle of national partnership in managing the country and its resources for the benefit of all Iraqis without discrimination was emphasized.
