Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office, yesterday, Sunday, the Ambassador of the European Union in Baghdad, Mr. Ville Varjola.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of enhancing cooperation between Iraq and the countries of the European Union, and ways to develop and raise the level of relations.

They also discussed the situation and challenges that Iraq is witnessing, and what is related to the legislative elections and their repercussions, and the reports of the European Union regarding it.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed the importance of continuing dialogues and meetings between political parties to find solutions to what the country is witnessing and the political process, and to strive so as not to affect the citizens.
