As an invitation of the Iraqi Council for Islamic Unity, a delegation from the leadership of Al Nasr Coalition attended the second conference organized by the Council under the title "Islamic Unity and its Effective Impact on the Palestinian Issue".

Al Nasr delegation was headed by Mr. Abdul-Abbas Al-Shaya, and included: Mr. Aqil Al-Rudaini, Mr.Taher Ayada Al-Dulaimi, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Wandi.

The conference was opened with the speech of Mr. Ali Al-Alaq, Secretary-General of the Academy, reviewing the most prominent events and attitudes related to the Palestinian issue.

It is noteworthy that the conference witnessed the participation of a group of clerics, political and diplomatic leaders, such as the Palestinian and Yemeni Ambassadors.
